A very clean and unique cover with Western Canada Airways, Ltd. # CL41 – the ONLY stamp in Canadian Postal History to be authorized for use on ONLY ONE DAY!

Complete with the clear and distinct MAPLE LEAF cachet:  flown from RED LAKE, Ont. via ROLLING PORTAGE, Ontario (b/s JULY 01, 1927) and on to Winnipeg, Man., on the Eastern legs of the flights  Company 4-line cachet in green on the back dated July 1, 1927.

Only 10,000 stamps were printed and less that 1000 were used on covers for all 9 legs of the routes flown to COMMEMORATE the 60th ANNIVERSARY of CONFEDERATION.
